Hello Friends!

Houston on the Move has arrived! Bienvenidos!  Houston on the Move will bring you inspirational stories, showcase local talent and attractions. Our 1st show is dedicated to Houston Association of Hispanic Media Professionals (HAHMP), the organization who produces Houston on the Move.  To tell us how HAHMP’s vision of making young aspiring media professionals’ dreams come true first started almost 25 years ago, we had HAHMP founder and current Public Relations Director for Shriner’s Hospitals for Children in Galveston/Houston,  Jo Ann Zuniga and HAHMP founder and Playwright, Consultant, Teacher, Fernando Dovalina join us on the show.

HAHMP today! To inform us over what HAHMP is doing now, we had HAHMP Scholarship Chair and Communications Specialist for Houston Area Women’s Center Frida Villalobos. HAHMP offers scholarships, and to tell us about her experience with HAHMP, we had Former Scholarship Recipient and News Producer/ Reporter for Univisions’s “Noticias 45” Maria Corrales.

To purse the American Dream breaking barriers and leaving a legacy many follow is not that simple, on our 1st show we featured Marcelo Marini owner of The Original Marini’s Empanada House.

Taking us to our first local attraction we had Former HAHMP President and KHOU Channel 11 Anchor Vicente Areas.
